As a hits compilation, "Hits 50" is fine, but it's the rarities that make it essential. On the balance, I'd say it's the best-ever collection from that perspective, but it's not without its flaws. Previously, I owned The Who: The Ultimate Collection, also a 2-CD set, and here's what you'll gain and lose in comparison/5(). At 50, That is something else, yes I like this one but other then a few tracks that are being released on CD for the first time, there are other collections of their greatest hits.
